The Secret to Happiness Revealed

Happy is defined as "feeling or showing pleasure or contentment." Atleast that's what google said when I typed the word in. Happiness describes an emotional state of being. The real question is how to achieve this emotional state. 

Happiness is a journey not a destination. Therefore, reaching goals and investing in material possessions leads to temporary satisfaction but not long term contentment. Investing in experiences is much more effective. I've heard Tony Robbins suggest that happiness is a result of daily progress and I agree.  Our lives are a culmination of our daily experiences.  We can practice skills that create the emotional state to get control of our experience. I am not suggesting that it is easy. It can be a full time job resetting our minds, but thats how Therapy can be helpful. Check out some of the services I provide here.
